On Killing A Thought…
It happened,first a concept,then a language..a word..and then the words like pearls on a string falling one by one into place.
They shone with colours of joy and pain,of loss hope and gain
shone ,the jewel priceless,a solace.
Then they stifled her,taking her breath away
words turned into a moan.
They slit her throat spluttering blood and the moaning stopped too.
Fools!They did not see the thousand lights in her eyes soaked up by the setting sun.
The dawn broke,its thousand more lights warming the world.
